I'm not really sure what I want from this thread. Maybe I just need to vent, but fuck me I'm so sick of my housing association. We have a 50% share in our house that we have lived in for 7 years. Been trying to sell it since June so we can move to a property that we will own outright. The process has just been soul-destroying slow, and communication awful. So many times we've had to wait weeks for them to do various things, and been assured that 'x will done by x date' which then passes by without x being done. We are so close to being able to exchange but the whole fucking chain is waiting (and has been for several weeks) on them replying to enquiries from our buyers. I was assured 9 days that it was being done that day, but I've just heard from my solicitor (in response to an e-mail I sent asking when we were going to exchange) who said he still hadn't had the responses back. I'm raging. Is there any ombudsman or something I can complain to?
