Good flexible curtain rail for bay window- any recommendations?

Apologies for most boring thread in history but wanting to get some curtains up in a 5 sided bay. Have a handyman teed up to fit it (if I try and do it I know I’ll end up messing it up/getting into a rage and hammering my hand into the wall) but he just asked me to source the rail. Any good ones people have used?

Flexible rails do not carry much weight , in my experience they are flimsy. I spent money on a rigid one in my bay so I could have normal weight curtains with thermal linings.

I'm interested in this as well. I know from experience that the hinged metal ones are useless in a 3 sided bay, never mind our 5 sider.

It currently has half knackered wooden blinds and they are so dingy and not very insulating.

SilentGliss is what was recommended by our very good and very experienced local curtain-making lady. Available online or in John Lewis apparently and they also can come and measure and fit.

Fab thanks. I’ve emailed a link to a silent gloss stockist to the handyman- will see what he says. Yes, in ideal world I’d be attracted to robustness of a rigid one but just want something that will hold a curtain- any curtain- now. Like you pickachew I’ve been living with some pretty pathetic blinds and need more coverage ASAP!
