Anyone else moving this week? SNOW!

We're due to move on Wednesday finally. Thought we'd be done with the snow with it almost being March. Have asked vendors to leave their heating on low so at least it won't be a total ice box!!

We packed our stuff up and moved most of it into a storage unit in freezing rain/sleet. Two weeks later we moved it from the storage unit into our new house in hail and snow. A week after that the boiler in our old, leaky, single glazed house broke down. I got up one morning for work (at 3am, shift work) and it was -8 outside. It felt only a few degrees warmer inside although I'm sure it wasn't quite that bad.

Fingers crossed all will go smoothly for you!

Oh dear tentative! Hm I am hoping the boiler in the new house will hold out. It's 11 years old whist our current one is only two and works like a Trojan keeping us toasty. Time will tell!!

Well we managed the move. Luckily our removals company managed to do everything a day earlier than planned otherwise I don't know how we'd have done it in this awful weather!!
