In moments of idleness I like to scan Rightmove for tiny but beautiful flats.

Same flat again. But this time with a helpful picture of a decanter.

I love these! The decor is a bit flouncy for the size of some of these though.

SimonBridges · 25/02/2018 22:09

This is my favourite one yet.

The bed comes out the wall!!!! Shock
That's the best thing I've seen in ages!!

SimonBridges · 25/02/2018 22:17

This could be so beautiful.

But what I don’t understand about the bed in the wall is where it goes when it’s tucked away. Surely that must go into the next flat.

Pretty grand boltholes.

How's this for small:

Efferlunt · 25/02/2018 22:20

How does the bed come out the wall?! Where does it fit?

boatyroo · 25/02/2018 22:28

I think it must work like this and go up behind the mirror. Very clever!:

harrietm87 · 25/02/2018 22:31

I think it says there is built in storage, so assuming it's surrounded by really deep wardrobes?! It looks amazing.

PickleFish · 25/02/2018 22:42

some of those are amazing!

I'm not sure I'd call some of them 'studios' though, even if that's what they're listed as.

You can get a lot of storage space and clever little gadgets when you have enough money, and it really does make a difference.

Fosterdog123 · 25/02/2018 22:47

Are you enjoying yourself there OP?! 😄

BackforGood · 25/02/2018 22:49

I love a bit of property porn myself, but this is just making me think how thoroughly depressing it must be to live in a bedsit and know you were paying £800K for it Shock.
Am going to have to go back to searching some lovely family homes around here for under 1/2 the price.

JoJoSM2 · 25/02/2018 22:57

BackforGood, I don't think anyone actually lives in them. More likely that very rich people keep one in case they fancy popping into London for a couple of days. Or you get one as accommodation for your nanny or housekeeper to live around the corner from your 20M pad.

CrochetBelle · 25/02/2018 22:58

Other end of the country

Eh? Edinburgh? End of which country? London?

SimonBridges · 25/02/2018 23:03

The Edinburgh flat is beautiful.

Complete with tunnel to the beach.

IntelligentYetIndecisive · 25/02/2018 23:21

Birmingham £450,000

SimonBridges · 25/02/2018 23:22

I lived in a very similar flat in Brighton. So damp it made me ill.
I could have bought it for £70k then had I wanted to.

Leamington Spa £395,000

SimonBridges · 25/02/2018 23:24

I also notice the size of the door in the Brighton flat. Getting furniture into our one was a nightmare. That one must be dreadful.
