I have never posted before but observed on her. My lovely old neighbour died of cancer and the daughter sold the house next door. Youngish couple moved in at the start of Jan and banging ever since 7 days a week from 8am to 9pm ish. They seem ok with lady stand offish with her acting very strange with the cat wandering over on my balcony. She went very hyper trying to get the cat on her side.
Last week it was a school night and 12 year old could hear the banging gone 9pm so asked to keep it down. The woman again was defensive saying they were up at 6pm (clearly not as I was) but did stop the noise. Not sure if they are developers and just doing it up to sell. I have lived in the house for 12 years and although it’s london most people know their neighbors around here.
When do I tell them to shut the hell up or do I just grin and bear it with high and mighty pants?
It’s now 8pm Sunday, I am up at 4.30am and there is lots of banging in the bedroom. At least I can return the noise at 4.30am!
