Freehold insurance question

I live in a ground floor flat with one above. Our buildings insurance is £75 per month each. There are two flats next door which are also owned by the same freeholder. So that’s £300 per month for buildings insurance. Is this normal? It seems an ehorbitantly high amount. Can I try to negotiate with the freeholder??

Thanks in advance

That does seem expensive. Perhaps there, has been a big claim in the past? Could you get a much cheaper quote for yours and suggest that the freeholder investigates it?
