Urgent! Home insurance- Renovation

Hello! We're about to exchange on a property that needs a complete renovation so we won't live in it for 3-6 months. We will be storing contents. We need buildings/contents insurance from exchange- can anyone shed some light on the best place to insure our property who will accept that it will be renovated/not live in for 3 months?

Many thanks

Phone a broker. This is quite a common situation but not easily found on line. If you are doing a full renovation you might want to store some stuff off site....it will get filthy.....speaking from personal experience 🙄. Good luck!

Thank you. It will be boxed/locked away in a bedroom that will not be touched (only decorated at end) but we'll be sure to cover the door cracks etc now you've said that, thanks for the tip.
