We are trying to buy a larger house in our tiny village as our family grows however not a lot comes into the market. We've just had our 4th disappointment in 7 months & im just feeling so deflated...

Can anyone share their positive stories with me to cheer me up??

If you do a nice letter saying you are looking for a family home in the village if anyone knows of one or is thinking of selling go let you know. I know a girl who did that,and she found a lovely house. Good luck!

Agreed! Do a letter or just spread the word as much as you can. Loads of my neighbours are on the NextDoor app, and if anyone knows someone looking, or gets a note like that, they share it on there. Houses go without going on the market.

Thanks for replying. We have done those things but no luck so far...back to the positive thinking & out of self pity mode!
