Our property has these, and they get hot. Like burning hot. I've really hurt myself on them and I'm very concerned that the children might end up hurt - I've Googled and searched but I can't find any ways to cover the mental vents. I was thinking a hardened plastic cover that could go over the metal, or like a box that comes out from the wall around the vent? Anyone got any clues?
Vents are in bedrooms too so it's not even like constant monitoring would do.
