Fed up of looking at no-where-near or not-quite-right houses, DH has finally been persuaded to self-build.
Have been looking for a plot for a while and think I’ve finally found ‘The One’.
It’s already got a house (to knock down) on it. Some other new builds going up in the area.
Any pearls of wisdom for a self build virgin?
Have got a rough idea of what I want, budget and an architect recommendation.
Am I missing anything?
