Agent not yet listed house

We are selling a property we have been renting out. Origionally tenant wanted to stay so we instructed agents that we were looking for a buyer with tenants in situ. They valued the property and then the tenants said they were happy to move so we told the agents last week that they could put in on as a general sale.
They have not yet listed it on their website or on the big sites they said they were going to. A week has gone by and still nothing.
Just wondered how long it takes to list a property on average?

Ring and ask them why - if photos, descripton and floorplan/epc are in place they just need to press a couple of buttons.

When did they visit to take measurements and photos? Have they shown you the draft particulars and have you approved them?
Have you signed a contract with them?

We signed an agreement and sent it back a few weeks ago. I rang to check they had them and they had. They have not sent a draft or anything.

Would they sent us a draft and the pictures next to approve?

It's not clear from your posts whether they have done measurements and photos. It's only ever taken ours about 2-3 days to send draft particulars after that and then 24h ish from us sending corrections approval to them going live. Just give them a ring and ask what the hold up is.

Maccaroni, they haven't said they have. We live a long way away from the house in question so guessing they would have emailed me if they had. I will give them a call.

Is the tenant is still in situ, and do they have a leaving date?

Stop guessing and wondering and get on the phone and find out what's going on!

I have always wanted to proof read and approve sales details. The last EAs we used had a couple of terrible photos, some really crap EA-speak and inaccurate information in their draft so we changed it.
