Bifolds and Perfect Fit Blinds

We have just finished our extension (only 6 months over!) and have two sets of 3 panel bifold doors in our kitchen. The kitchen is north facing. It is not over looked yet but it will be because we need to cut back some treees. I'd like a bit of privacy for when I am in my pj's making breakfast.

I was planning to have a roman blind or curtains but the alarm is slap bang above both doors.

So I am looking at perfect fit blinds - anyone had them fitted? When they are up do they take up a lot of window space at the top? How hardy do you think they are? What do you think of the colour choices? Any advice gratefully received.

Hiya, i have perfect fit blinds in my house and they are great. They really great for doors because you dont have to drill the window and they are really easy to fit. Depending on the drop of your doors the stack of slats can take a little space, say 150mm. I got my blinds from Blinds superstore, really good site and their blinds are British made. One thing you can do with perfect fit is have the stacking at the bottom and pull them up, just simply turn the blinds around as it suits you.
