Floor plan ideas?

In the new year I’ll be able to reconfigure the downstairs of my house. I haven’t consulted an architect yet but will have the funds. I’ve been talked around by dh and friends to convert garage but think I should keep some space for storage for bikes, tents etc. I would like a bigger kitchen & diner with an area to sit. Where it says breakfast is the sunniest spot and overlooks the garden. The square dot is an outside pillar. I wouldn’t mind splitting up the living/dining room to create 2 rooms but I’m easy! Any suggestions/thoughts of what you’d do? Thank you 😊

I would split the living room into 2 and have an open pla kitchen/diner. I’d also split the double garage into 2 so have a single garage on the end and a room on the inner side, accessed from the bit marked as the breakfast room.

I think you have many options. If this was my house, I’d open up the kitchen to the living dining room. I’d extend the breakfast room into the garage slightly to create a seperate snug. I’d have a large utility cupboard as part of the kitchen
