Small bathroom layout

Our family bathroom is small (2m x 1.8m) and has a bizarre layout with (from left to right) bath, toilet, and sink along one wall (bath end on). Pic attached.

Can we change this to have the sink next to the bath instead? Or will it be really expensive to move the toilet 6 inches to the right? Soil pipe goes down side of the house.

Sink is over the stairs I presume. So that slope may be a problem.

Try re-hanging the door so it opens against left hand wall. We have a small bathroom but doing that made it feel much bigger.

Try using the basic 3D planner on the ideal standard website. Easy to use and gives you a better idea of how it will look.

You can see my pictures from the 3D planner here really helps.

We can't rehang the door to open on the left as the radiator would be in the way. We're thinking of getting a concertina door type thing as it is the door which gets in the way of floor space.

Any thoughts on whether we can swap the sink and toilet around?

Life took over (mum unwell, dog needed knee surgery and threat of redundancy) so we postponed doing the bathroom, hopefully will do early this year.

The couple of plumbers who came round didn’t see moving the loo as a problem, it’s a new build (20 years old) style house, both walls are external/first floor so it was just a case of putting in a new external pipe to connect to the existing external down pipe (all plastic) which is at the corner of the building.
