Scone, Perthshire

Thinking about moving there... any information welcome. I know perth to some extent, as in the odd day or passing through. I don't know Scone, apart from the stately home. I am looking for countryside, good access to Perth and Edinburgh , and good public transport links. Is Scone much of a community? Is it friendly and welcoming?

Very pretty, not much in the way of amenities locally and I can see the short run into Perth across the bridges being a pain when it's busy (single carriageway, traffic lights, traffic in three directions).

Try broadening your search to Dundee, Cupar, Glenrothes, South Fife area too.
