Anyone have a composite white sink? Hows it aging? Is it nice and bright to look at or always looking grungy? Thx in advance!

We have a 1.5 year old Franke white sink which I think is composite and it tends to stain. Actually we have two - the one our little utility is worse as it gets rusty metal finds left in from the boys metal detecting! However both clean up quite well, although I keep growling at DS to rinse the sink after throwing his cold coffee at it! I use jiff cream or Barmans friend to keep it white, but I am a little disappointed with it to be honest. My old home had a stainless steel sink and that stained too - but it was not so immediately obvious. The advantage of the white sink is that it is easy to see when it needs a good clean! The bottom is getting a bit scratched, but I found using a grid sink protector just encouraged the staining under the sink protector. I suspect a darker colour might look less stained but we have a white worktop so non white would have looked odd. The other point is to check a washing up bowl will fit - ours will not take a standard washing up bowl ( because the work surface overlaps slightly) and perhaps using a bowl might help protect the sink.

yes. It stains.

next one will be stainless steel. Nothing else is as resistant or long-lasting.
