Would Manor House Grey work in a small, dark (one window) study rrom? The room will be lined with bookshelves, and has a wooden floor so will be cosy ish - want some sort of mid grey, with perhaps a hintbof warmth?

Yes I think it would. However I might be tempted to go a bit darker. I love Downpipe with dark wooden furniture.

Yes I love Downpipe too - tho was going to have that on the woodwork, with a lighter grey for walls. We had it very dark in Hague Blue before, just felt like lightening up a tone or two..

French Grey?

Yes, again I love the colour, the only problem it has a greenyness in our (Suffolk/rural) house as the light from the garden bounces i about. But every colour I'm currently trying, Hardwick White, Lamp Room Gray are now appearing beigy/ brown! Such huge variation in F & B colours, in different situations..
There is a nice Little Greene colour Urbane Grey (similar to M H Grey) which I'm going to try too.
