We’ve just had a new toilet installed one with a sink on top as our toilet is in a separate room from our bathroom. The trouble is it takes two or 3 flushes to get rid of toilet paper this is on full flush. The tank is small but full our plumber has tried to solve it by raising the pain slightly and shortening the pipes but it does not seem to make any difference it seems to handle poo ok as long as it doesn’t float which I surpass is a good thing has anyone else had these issues and how did they sort it thankyou

Sorry, I don't know what the answer is but we have the same problem. Our plumber said this is often the case with new toilets because they have to be low water use or have something like that. Since our old toilet was the opposite in that paper flushed OK but our 3 year old DC's unbelievably big poos didn't, we will probably just live with it.

A flapper valve gives a more forceful (and quieter) flush.

Please post some photos of the inside of your cistern. Do you know how many litres it flushes?

Can get in to take photo of inside cistern as you open it from the side and there are pipes in the way think it’s a 6 litre here are some pics from outside and the instructions with diagram if that will help
