This is up there with the most boring thread I have ever started but don't really know where to start!!
I have a tiny downstairs toilet that is the bane of my life. We started decorating it 4 years ago...you read that right, 4 YEARS ago....but never finished it. It's possibly the most condensated room I have ever come across, there's no plug point, no radiator and the window can't be left open because you would freeze to the toilet seat. I have 2 of those little condensation box things at all times, which fill up within 2 weeks, but water still runs down the side and back walls (both outside walls).
I HATE this room with a passion. The walls aren't straight, which means the skirting doesn't sit right, and the filler has just crumbled because of the condensation. It's a mess.
I want to start again, strip it all back and make it nice. Where do I start? I was thinking of the upvc cladding but we'd have to baton the walls and I think the condensation would just run between the cladding and wall. Would tiles work? Anyone recommend where to get tiles from that's not too expensive?
Any advice is appreciated.
