I need bathroom inspiration!

New bathroom needs to be fitted asap (moving in in 4 weeks). It's downstairs between front door and kitchen (worse possible place) so would you chose something that would blend in deco wise with kitchen and downstairs!
I've just had a wonderful kitchen fitted. I love it. Grey units and white metro tiles. I knew what I wanted. But I can't get excited about the bathroom think it's because I hate the location and need some inspiration.
Anyone got tiles or a suite/shower they love?
Or could make me love my new bathroom? Nowhere else to move it upstairs or downstairs

Anyone? I've tried Pinterest and nothing jumps out. I'm thinking maybe pale grey metro tiles to tie in with kitchen (as it's nextdoor).

I designed 3 bathroom, two in this house ans 1 in our previous house.

I recommend buying large travertine tiles, travertine direct is a great online shop and i have bought for all three rooms there. Stone is so much better looking then other cheap tile. i would also massively recommend underfloor heating. we have three rooms worth and we have seen no difference to our bills and it is absolutely amazing!!! our cat loves it too.

I have also bought my whole bathroom suits from online shops, like victoria plum or similar otherwise you will spend twice as much for the basic stuff like toilets and they are all the same really.

i would be happy to have a look if you have measurements and make some recommendations!

We put these wall tiles in our bathroom - really helps to brighten up the room.

killer I'm embarrassed to say I haven't measured it! It's currently 2 rooms with toilet separate. I'm guessing approx 2.5 x 1.5. Ish. Will measure tomorrow when I go over to paint

Travertine. I had lovely Laura Ashely rules that weren't travertine but similar style in last house. They were v nice. But I'm wondering if the fact it is so close to the living area whether I should fit it in with the downstairs/kitchen decor. I don't know if that's the right thing or not?

Sorry are they quite sparkly? Reflecting? Looks lovely.
I guess part of my issue is privacy. It's right next to front door yuck and I really dislike this part of the house. I nearly didn't buy it for this reason but because I had spent 12 months looking (sold house and now in rental so was stressing) and it was dream location etc etc I went with it. It was definitely the compromise.

I guess I'm looking for someone to either give me a dream bathroom I fall in love with or convince me this is a positive rather than the compromise I am thinking.

I'm being an idiot. I've got to make a decision v v soon as kitchen was finished today and this is next job!

As it is close to te kitchen, I would do the opposite and go with a different feel to make a distinct space. If it is too similar it all blends into one space.

On a plus side when someone comes home with an urgent need no racing through the house!

Qwebec thank you lol! A positive!

Drugs I know someone with very similar tiles who made a feature wall out of them. I also know they cost a fortune! Looks very striking though.

I'm full of cold and need to motivate myself as I've got loads to do over there. I will report back later with some measurements. Many thanks!
