Hi,

Does anyone know where I would go to have 2 footstools recovered and approx price I'd say it's not quite upholstery but just recovering any ideas?
I'm based in London W9.

Do I think yourself? It is really straight forward.

Lisa Perry has been recommend to a freind of mine and was very good. here I visited 'the office' but that seemed to be a workshop too.

I know someone in Bristol . Two ladies at Redlands station do re upholstery Hamilton and Hodgson I went to check and they are running a course on 17 th March for £90 so you could do your own in a day then do the other one at home. Don't know anyone in London sorry. Know someone up north but then it would be courier costs.

We have the large Laura Ashley Elliott footstool and have recovered it at least 10 times (whenever it gets grubby).

With a good staple gun and two of you, it's really easy.

We used to live in same area. I used a lady called “Eva Soft Furnishings” for making curtains, headboards, valances, upholstery etc. She isn’t going to be the cheapest, but the workmanship is very good and it will give you an idea of quote.

Not sure about her fabrics (availability, cost), as I always sourced my own and she collected it from me.
