Long story short, looks like we will be moving on an extremely inconvenient date due to our buyers being essentially complete arses and not negotiating at all. We both feel completely negative towards them now as they knew all along this date was the worst one we could move on (and initially in fact said we couldn’t move that date at all). Would we be completely unreasonable not to want to spend any time cleaning the house before we hand the keys over? Obv would hoover the obvious dust and it’s not a complete dump now but was planning on making it spotless for them.
