Ugly kitchen cabinet edging

Is there anything I can do to get rid of, or disguise the brown laminate edging on these cabinets? They unscrew but taking them off completely leaves the brown end-panels and looks strange.

I had considered spray painting but could I cut them back and cover the flat edge with something?

Could you sand and paint them in the same colour as the doors.

Do you mean the curved edge, or remove those completely and spray paint the remaining end panels and flat edge?

A kitchen supplier could order you a new one. Are you doing a makeover?

Oh, I've just looked at your second photo, much better taken off, then just sand/paint end panel to match doors.

I'm replacing hideous worktop, tiles and am hoping that if I can deal with the edging somehow, then I can leave the cabinets in place. Really can't replace the entire kitchen yet.

I’d definitely ask a kitchen company near you or even order a sample yourself online, I know this crowd do them because I have ordered Doors from them before and they are not expensive:
ww.byba.co.uk
They might send you on a sample to see if the colour will match and you could stick it on yourself.

What kind of tiles are you going for? They will make a big difference, you don’t need a new kitchen if the cabinets are good.

A quick and easy fix for the end panels would be Fablon, I've used it on cupboard doors before and it has worked well. Also B&Q sell colour matched end panels which you could replace the brown ones with, if they are the same size.

Price up some new trims in a more modern style and new gloss end panels? B&Q probably do them, or online suppliers.
