I'm having some new pine floors sanded down. I was then thinking to use Fiddes antique water based stain on them to give them an older feel. But then should I varnish or oil them? The floor is in a very high traffic hallway where we walk into the house with prams and shoes. This leads onto a well used living room. Which would you choose?
