I'm having an attic conversion and the drawings were done with 600mm wide stairs with a turn. We are now wondering if these will be wide enough and whether we should go a bit wider to 700mm which we can have but will eat more into the room we have to steal space from for the stairs which is not ideal.
Of all of you out there who have had attic conversions have any of you had 600mm (with a U turn) and are they fine for getting things up and down? We are having a bedroom and shower room up there so we will want to get the bed up there and some smaller furniture.
