We are based in Surrey/London and have been quoted £1750 per m2 for a ground floor extension, is this about right?

It depends on the design, size of extension and many other things, but yes is the short answer - that sounds about right in the South East at the moment.

Yes, same area. Quote around £2k per sq metre

Is that including VAT? NW here and it worked out at £2k per square metre.

Notfootball · 20/01/2018 23:17

Vat included.

Partner says normally about a grand to grand and a half per m2.

Karigan1 · 20/01/2018 23:23

With Surrey prices your quote sounds reasonable

puffylovett · 20/01/2018 23:27

A lot will depend on the types of windows, bricks etc you choose (there are gazillions of choices at all different price brackets) but sounds about right. We currently tend to quote around 2500-3000 per sqm to a very high quality (think grand designs/crittal windows etc) bespoke finish.

Thanks all.
