Has anyone used this service?

Have just embarked on the exciting but torturous road of trying to buy our first home and a colleague recommended it. Its 'only' £100 for the 'Quick check' but I was wondering if it was worth it.

Obviously if it only saved a few grand or avoided a costly mistake it would pay for itself easily but would soon add up if used for every property we were interested in. Not sure of the value of doing it as some/most of the information can be gathered from trawling online.

Any thoughts?

Other hints and tips for making offers appreciated !

I'd use the money for a proper survey tbh. You like the place enough to want to buy it, why would you now consult this business? What's in it for them? Surely they are looking to get something more than £100 out of it?

Might be useful if you haven't got the time and just want a few done - especially if you are new to the area - before taking it further.

You could do it yourself though - it's just data
