Kitchen paint - please help

Please can anyone explain why my kitchen paint occasionally looks like this?

Originally the wall was red, then I painted it with 2 coats of white kitchen paint, then 1 coat of dulux trade paint. The second coat of dulux went on in 2 stages which explains the line I suppose, but why is it discoloured when it gets hot? It's also melting / evaporating over the kettle which is right in front of the window to void condensation.

Paint shop says it's my fault for painting over kitchen paint. Builder says it just needs more pink paint. Someone suggested I need to try and strip the whole lot off and start again.

I just want a fancy pink kitchen (and then white tiles).
