Leaking Samsung Fridge Freezer

Has anyone had any issues with a Samsung Fridge Freezer leaking.
I've been using a new kitchen be for barely a month and it's leaking from the underneath. Engineer said it was door seals, these have been adjusted and levelling - it's level. Its still leaking but Samsung washed their hands if it and say they aren't taking any responsibility, however water not coming from doors, definitely underneath. Banging head against wall speaking to them. Did a quick google search and a few posts on leaking Samsung Fridges. Wasn't cheap at £600. Appalling aftercare at Samsung, wouldn't listen to me kept repeating the incorrect engineers report,

If its under warranty then they have to come & fix it. Even if its not then theres a certain amount of time you should expect it to be functional for where you can expect them to help you still. How old is it? My Samsung is 6 years old now & the only thing that doesn't work is the in door water dispenser. It may be worth looking into getting some appliance cover from a company like British Gas. They come out & fix it under your policy!

Purchased in November 2017... engineer couldn't find the fault so they will charge to come again.. he insisted water coming from the freezer draw - it isn't, it's coming from underneath. They just would not listen to me on the telephone.

I had exactly the same problem that started just as the warranty ran out. The bottom freezer drawer over frosted on the frost free freezer! If we didn’t clear it regularly then it leaked. We cleared all the drainage holes, as the manual described, but it didn’t make much difference. This went on for a couple of years. Then the fridge half packed up, so we bought a different make.
Btw our neighbour has the same Samsung, bought at the same time and hers is still going strong!

We had a similar issues with the desfrost bit being frozen over so it leaked every defrost cycle as there was no wear for the water to go. I netted the freezer and left it open until it had all melted no problems in the 5 years since then.

Can you get advice from Which? or Trading Standards via CAB? I would also suggest emailing the head honcho in the UK with the details of the issue and how poorly it has been dealt with and is still not resolved. All appliance manufacturers should be on their toes at the moment given the damning report into Whirlpool over tumble dryers.

my ancient Bosch one does this sometimes. either something blocking the drain pipe out to the tray on the back where the excess water evaporates away by the heat from the motor. or a biuld up of ice in bottom of freezer section. take everything out and defrost with hairdryer

We have a Samsung fridge freezer - it doesn't leak so I can't help on that front but it does have a 10 year warranty - does yours have a sticker on the front about that?
