How much for new roof

Hi, we found out today that were going to need a new roof on our small mid terraced house. Does anyone know roughly how much that would cost? Not the best new year gift!

We've just had our roof done at the same time as the two housing association properties we adjoin and it came to approx £8k for new felting, tiles, guttering, facias and leading. We have a mansard roof so it will have been pricier than a normal roof but then we also got a discount as the scaffolding etc was already needed for the other properties in our terrace and doing 3 houses in one go was easier.

We're in the outer SE England if that helps.

What's your location? As it does make a big difference on price.

Ah yes sorry we're in Scotland so that could make it a bit cheaper!

Well, in the N West, Liverpool and Manchester, you'd be looking at around £4 to £4,500, not sure about prices in Scotland though!

Thanks! I had thought about 4k so that sounds about right. Will have to get a few quotes
