Another question - this time about tiling and a wonky sink! Please help.

Having a new utility room fitted, by a builder. The room has just been plastered.

The wall in the room must be wonky, I think (which is annoying, given that I've just had it plastered). The sink has just been fitted. It's 5cm from the front of the worktop on each side. Hunkydory, no problems.

However, at the back, one end of the sink is 5cm from the wall and the other end is 6cm!!

It looks really wonky! Aaaaaargh!

Can a good tiler sort this out with a line of tiles that IS straight, even though the wall itself isn't??

Hi
We had to fit a row of tiles on a wonky wall and unfortunately found that a straight line of tiles looks even worse - you kind of need to go with the wonk or it looks like a bad tiling job - sorry don't think that helped much!

The builder says that the tiler can bulk up the difference with adhesive, and then he can pack behind a wall cupboard to make it look as though the wall is straight even though it isn't. I'm hopeful this might work, though I do wish the wall was straight in the first place.
