Does anyone know if we adapt an extension with an existing party wall, but don't dig foundations, and leave the part of the roof that is attached to the party wall attached and the first rafter in place but modify and extend that roof and the wall adjoining the party wall, do we need to serve a party wall notice? Hope what I've written makes sense!
