Woodcote or Goring?

Could anyone in the know please give me an insight into living at the above please. (SouthOxon).

I know that Goring has a station, is by the river... wondering more about sense of community / do both feel “provincial”. Any thoughts welcome.

I prefer Goring....the high street is lovely, nice playgrounds, playgroups, Pierreponts Cafe...

Depends what you want

Goring often seen as the more up market place IMO

Woodcote has langtree secondary school

Woodcote easier to get to reading in the car, but goring to reading or oxford on the train. Realistically though it’s only about 4-5 miles from woodcote to goring

The river in goring is good for rowing too

Both places are provincial but goring a bit more so
