En-Suite Shower or Not

In our 3rd bedroom (of 5) - there is a large cupboard with a window which currently houses the boiler and HW cylinder. It would be very easy to put a divider in the cupboard to allow us to have an en-suite WC/Basin.

With a bit more work, we could move the wall and add an shower to the en-suite.

The room is currently a generous 3.25x4.57. The shower option would reduce the room size to 3.25 x 3.87, but would allow us to include some built in wardrobes.

Rough floorplans attached.

We have an en-suite to the master bedroom and 2 further bathrooms.

I'm torn as to whether it's worth the extra effort of adding the shower. It's not something we need, but am thinking it might be potentially useful in the future (guest suite).

What would you do? :)

I wouldn't, personally. IMO, 3 bathrooms is plenty for a 5 bedroomed house.

I wouldn't either

Main bath has separate loo/ shower so there wouldn't be any really need for any extra shower.

Guests 'make do' and I'd be delighted with a loo and sink

I would put it in if your hot water system can cope with lots of showers going at once.

You still have a room that is a decent size.

No. Steamed up bedroom and extra cleaning.

Yes absolutely, if you’re doing the loo and sink then add the shower too.
