after some advice live in detached bungalow but both left and right side hedges are shared how do I stand about putting a fence up both sides ?? this pic is on right side x

I think you can put up what you like on your land, so even if the hedges weren’t yours, you can put a fence just inside your boundary line. I would try not to make the fence higher than the hedge if it were me, as that will look better for you and the neighbours.

You can put up fence within the boundary on your side but will find it difficult to trim the hedge so it will eventually push into it. How close is the conifer to the hedge?

Been to see the neighbor said it was ok to removed them and to be honest the fence he's got is naffed. getting a double sided one so it will look nice for us both, so today it's been removed ☺️
