Tiles in bathroom around window

I am rubbish at visualising anything, so I have come to ask you please for your advice. I am changing the tiles in my bathroom. The bath is in front of you when you walk into the bathroom and takes up the full length of the wall. On the wall to the right hand side of the bath is the sink and toilet and a large window which runs almost the full length of the sink and toilet. The shower area will be tiled and I will need to tile the splashback over the sink. But how much tiling should I do? From the floor to the window sill? All around the window but paint the window recess a colour, or tile the whole thing? Would really appreciate your opinions. Thanks!

Tile the whole thing, I’ve done this but on the sill used some of those mosaic tiles to give a splash of colour

Excuse the mess and the window, but this is our fully tiled recessed window with chrome edging x

Ah, thank you so much for your replies. I was getting myself all in a muddle! I like the idea of the sill being a different colour / style single. Kat sorry, can't see your photo?

We ended up tiling entirely as with the size and shape of our bathroom there was no sensible place to stop if we wanted tiles round the shower, splashback etc.

I wasn't convinced about the chrome edging before doing it but happy with the outcome.

We framed all of our windows US style. I think it looks much nicer. You then just tile to the edge of the wooden frame.
