What floor for this kitchen?

I cannot decide on flooring, whatever we have will run from the front door through hallway the downstairs WC and into the kitchen.

I'm not sure I want wood effect, looked at Karndean they have a sort of limestone but I don't love it. I'd like light coloured flooring but not white. There are French doors in the kitchen also so it's a very bright room I want it to feel homely but spacious. Any ideas very gratefully received!

If it were me I would use Karndean or an Amtico type flooring of washed oak boards in a creamy / white / pale colour.
I love the flooring in The White Company shops so something like that but man made.
I have engineered wood in my kitchen and it's a pita. Deep scratches in it. Aghhhh
