Dishwasher and washing machine not draining...could it be the pipes?

We moved into a new build on Friday, there are no holes in the cupboards to put the pipes for the dishwasher and washing machine through but there was a small space between the cupboard and the worktop so we have put them up and through that.

Neither of them are draining now which is shit! Is it really likely to be that the pumps can't get the water all the way up to get it out?
I'm hoping it is that as otherwise we are a bit fucked.
Wish we had gone integrated now....
Thanks in advance for any Help!

Can you get someone in to drill a hole through? Ours go under the unit and up through a gap into the under sink cupboard.

We had similar issue when we moved in,drilled a hole in the cupboards. I'm surprised neither are draining, are they connected up ok?

Did you push the pipes onto spigots on the sink waste? Is it new?

They come blocked. You have to pry out the bung or cut the end off.

You can remove the spigots to work on them by undoing the collar nut.

I can't tell you how stupid we both feel now... Blush
