Do I need to have quooker tap serviced?

Inspired by reading another thread I’m wondering if I have to do anything with my quooker on a regular basis? Change filters etc? I’ve had it 2 years, no problems but read on another thread they should be maintained annually. As if so who by? Would it be a plumber? Sorry if that sounds daft..

If you have an in-line water softener then maybe ? We have really hard water and a second hand quooker which we opened up and descaled a couple of months ago. We ordered a new internal filter thing, and the cleaning kits was free..quooker service email is really good. Their engineers are expensive but so are plumbers, so we did it ourselves (we have the large tank combi model which delivers hot water to the kitchen tap too, or rather it will once we've replaced the mixer valve which has probably limescaled up too).

Yes. Ring Quooker and they will send an engineer. Well that is what I do.

Thank you both
