Refunds of lights

Yesterday I had two pendant lights installed in my kitchen and I hate them - I am getting an electrician to take them down today. I am within the time bracket to return. But will the online shop take them back?

Can I disguise the fact that they were installed previously, as I think they will refuse to refund if its obvious?

I doubt they would accept a return for an item which has been clearly used and installed. Personally I would leave them up, they are there now and the longer they stay there the less you will hate them, although I don't really see how you can hate a light fitting.
