Plantation shutters

Hi

I’ve just had a quote for a bay window and an upstairs bedroom window for £2080.

I’m in the Liverpool area.

Can anyone recommend a company for this type of work as I nearly fell off the couch when I saw this figure.

The windows are standard size. Standard three bed semi.

Thanks

If you'd be willing to measure and fit yourself then I can really recommend the California Shutter company. Great quality and really good price. Bit of a long lead time but worth the wait. I think we paid around £1.6k ish for a big bay and two large bedroom windows.

We've used them for this house and our previous one and no problems.

Get net curtains instead.

I agree with Crumbelina. California Shutters sell the exact same product you'll get from one of the pricier companies (they all come from China) and they're ridiculously easy to fit. It took my husband one afternoon to fit shutters to three windows in our house, no bays but two are big sash windows.

Or get white wooden horizontal blinds from ikea.
