A stupid question about buying toilets.

If I buy a toilet and sink set, will they come ready to be installed by a plumber? I'm looking at sets that are around £100-130 (this would be for a tiny downstairs cloakroom). I thought they'd be a lot more expensive than that! Is there a catch?

You will probably need a toilet connection set which includes brackets to attach it to the floor. You will need a flexible waste pipe. Some of the toilets will come without a seat so check this.

You'll need taps for the basin plus a plug/waste and a sink connection kits which includes the waste pipe.

We had our old set removed and a new one fitted a fortnight ago. Cost £250 in labour.

Thanks Newts. So, would the plumber provide any of that (if I paid, obviously)? Or would I have to buy them from somewhere? I did notice that some sets came without a toilet seat actually!

Probably but if not then you can get it all in B&Q

Thank you!
