Hi new here...How long for a mortgage approval with Santander?

Our broker put in our application for a new mortgage for our new build purchase today. We already have one agreed in principle. I'm just wondering how long it usually takes? Anyone?

Also is there an existing

thread for moving house/new build purchases? We are in Scotland if that makes any difference...

Sorry don't know about Santander, but with TSB recently the broker put in the application on Monday and was told it was approved on Friday.

I really had no idea!

Our Santander mortgage was approved in 2 days, broker remarked that that was fast though! We are in England, no idea if that makes a difference. Fingers crossed it’s not a long wait OP!

Our Santander mortgage was done in a few days. They approved the current mortgage extension for building work within 1 day.
