We're on day 2 and though units are being built I'm guessing it's going to be another ten days plus to do all tiling, fitting appliances etc??

Could be unless everyone can come in strictly as required to do the work and everything is delivered on time. A week can be achieved with good planning. If they have unforseen problems, allow 2 weeks.

The quickest I’ve seen was a kitchen fitted in less than a day. All units assembled, worktops and appliances done too. It was runs of units on 2 walls and an island in the middle.

However, most fitters seem to take ages. An experienced pair still shouldn’t take more than 3 days. That doesn’t include tiling on painting, though. If you’re getting a full refurb, it might as well take a few weeks as different trades are staggered over a number of days.

Mine was about ten days , one of those days was removing rhe old kitchen. No tiling or flooring, but some bespoke work. They should be able to give you an estimate. They will be more accurate than strangers in the internet Hmm

Painting and flooring is done, they are on day 2 of installing units. The range hasn't been delivered though, it's "lost" in the order. Fab.
