Tips for sorting out odd shower situation

Hi all!

We have a weird situation where the bath is adjacent to a wall with a window, so that when we have a shower (with curtain pulled across) we are right next to a window. Unfortunately this means it get super wet and although it is tiled and sealed it is still leaking.

Has anyone got any advice on how to sort this? We were thinking of a small waterproof blind we can fix to the tiles and pull down when we have a shower but not sure if such a thing exists!

Is thw window all along bath side or at the end. Does your shower come off the taps at the end of the bath. If so get a longer shower hose and fix halfway down bath facing towards the other end. So the water is spraying away ftom the window

Hi DOLLY! It's just a small window in the middle of the wall. The shower is not fixed, and is at the end, some way from the window. We do try to manoeuvre it so it doesn't splash the window - but still some water does get in there on top of the sill.

The houses in my friend's estate were designed like that. (Honestly, who the hell paid the architect?!) The council has installed shower curtains that go across the window too now after the window frames rotted so tenants have to shower enclosed in a tight curtained area!
Someone has replaced their silly curtain with a folding shower door. It seems to work fine.

Thanks Cheeky. Yes I think a curtain may be doable - but the wall is a bit weird, there's not a right angle at one end.

We don't have the same issue, but had a leak that drove us crazy trying to find and fix. Gave up eventually. So we put a circular shower rail above the bath, bought 2 matching shower curtains, and basically while showering you are surrounded by curtains, so it solved our leaking problem.

My MIL's bathroom is like that. They have a curtain at both sides. It makes the bath/shower feel quite narrow, but it works fine.

Ta guys. Yep it does look like an extra shower curtain is only option!!
