Has anyone ever had conservatory roof insulation fitted?

Hi,

As it says really, we have a relatively old conservatory and don't really have the money to convert it into a proper extension (and also don't think it would add that much to the value of the house) so thinking of getting the roof insulated instead. We've had a quote of £3.5k, but I can hardly find any experiences online of anyone getting it done and whether it was worth it (and delivered the 5 solution for a 5 problem as the salesman promised!)
Thanks in advance

Hi we had our old conservatory insulated by roof revive (who have since gone into liquidation) who did a great job & it really did work. Obviously it was still the coldest room in the house but as we had two radiators in there we could still use it in cold weather. It was also obviously still the hottest room in summer but not as hot as it was before. we paid about £3k 7ish years ago but have now knocked it down & built an extension.
