Hi

I’m considering moving to Harrow from Suffolk! Yes I know huge move! I need to return to London with my 2 year old daughter to get back into work
The postcode of the place I’m looking at is HA1 1XF I’ve looked on the maps and that seems to be in the middle of Wealdstone & Harrow Weald
Does anyone have any info they could give me as this is a completely new area and will be a new adventure so I need to know everything :-)
Would really appreciate any feedback
Thank you x

Hi Lauren

I lived in Harrow when I was at university and after, although I moved out many years ago. HA1 is central harrow and HA3 is Wealdstone and Harrow Weald. Your postcode is on the border of Harrow and Wealdstone (the border is the railway bridge). The area may well have changed as i haven't been back for a while but when I lived there it wasn't the best postcode in Harrow, but nowhere near the worst either Smile

It's a really busy road (frankly all of Harrow is stupid busy with cars and buses) and it's close to the mainline station (and Bakerloo tube line). If you need to get to the West End quickly you need to be closer to Harrow met tube station which is in College Road. It is probably a 15-20min walk from this postcode to the met line tube station. There are plenty of buses though.

I like Harrow - it's eclectic, has loads to do, great mix of people and the met line fast train to Euston is wonderful Grin

The local primary looks good too Smile

Good luck!
