Our boiler is on its last legs so figured we could rethink our existing system while we are at it so looking for best solutions.
We currently have a traditional gas boiler with hot water cylinder in airing cupboard and tanks in the loft (plenty of space left).
It is a cold four-bed house currently with no shower. We would like a mains pressure one upstairs with possibility of adding one downstairs in the future. Electrics exist to add a pump if required.
We have solar panels with a diverter to immersion heater so would like to capitalise on the use of this (so combi not suitable). Anyone use this with a really big cylinder/system boiler?
We have some installers coming to quote but willing to consider less standard solutions which they might not mention? Thanks.
