Navy sofa? Or better to go for a dark grey?

We are looking to buy a new sofa set - thinking of a corner chaise sofa and a cuddle sofa. Really fancy a dark navy but wondering if this will look old fashioned or will date? Other option is to go for a dark grey but wonder if a little boring?
It’s a fairly large room and we have young kids so need something dark!
Any - has anyone seen any good ones?!

Made.com have some lovely ones, would love one of their velvet ones 😁

We have a grey sofa and midnight blue sofa in separate rooms. Much prefer the blue one, had more depth and warmth than grey. Try sofa.com

I love the Made.com velvet ones but wondering if practical with small kids. V interesting to hear about navy VS grey thank you!

I'd go for navy too.

Grey is everywhere at the moment so is likely to date quite quickly. Navy is a timeless classic.

We have a navy one too, much warmer! We have throws too and two are grey, the blue throw is picked first my me and the kids every tine lol - husband gets the grey Wink
Blue is more time factoring too as grey is very now

We've got grey, I hate them and we're going to swap for blue ones soon. Grey is very 'now' and is already dating, however I think dark blue is the new grey so that will date too in the next 10 years, fashions change so ultimately you're better off just picking what you think you like the best.

I would og for a dark grey as it gives you plenty of options with dressing and decorating the rest of the room. grey is truly neutral whereas navy blue is not

Navy. Much warmer. Don't understand this fashion for turning everything grey, at all.
