Mattress storage

Has anyone stored a mattress? We're moving house and need to store 2 mattresses in a garage for about a year until we get chance to extend. Looking for some recommendations about wrapping/covering etc

Big plastic wrap? It will not breathe though. If it needs to be waterproof/mouse proof, there is not much that you can do about it breathing.

Did you know that you can get a mattress storage bag from Homebase? It looks like a heavy duty black bin liner but mattress size. Costs about £6 each.

Only bother was getting a heavy 1000 spring mattress in the bag when I was doing it by myself.
